Chinese Ambassador Li Baodong 31, said that to further help the Haitian people to carry out reconstruction work, the Chinese government decided to revert to the Government of Haiti to provide 10 million yuan (about 1.47 million U.S. dollars) free aid.

Li Baodong, held at United Nations Headquarters in New York, the International Donors Conference on Haiti, said that China's aid to Haiti's reconstruction will be used to provide much-needed supplies, and is responsible for transportation to Port au Prince. The relevant government departments will be hit with Haiti as soon as possible to determine materials required for early organization and implementation.
